GBR Music - The musical manifestations of George B. Reichart, a Los Angeles based musician, songwriter, composer and producer. In addition to being an in demand multi-instrumentalist for recording sessions with producers and artists, he also teaches and works in film and television.

Private lessons are available for the following skill levels in person and via Skype:

Guitar - Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced
Piano - Beginner/Intermediate
Bass Guitar - Beginner/Intermediate
Recording instruction* - Beginner/Intermediate

Objective: To educate students while encouraging, assisting, and furthering their passions into music. Giving students all the tools they will need to further their abilities, with specific attention to technique; learning and mastering the performance of songs and exercises. Music theory will also be implemented according to the students desires, skill level, and experience.

Rates (payment required 24 hours in advance of lesson) :

$25 for a 30 minute lesson
$35 for a 45 minute lesson
$45 for a 60 minute lesson
$65 for a 90 minute lesson (recording instruction only)

Please note that students outside the greater Los Angeles area must take their lessons via Skype. A free 20 minute consultation will be given to assess goals and talent level prior to first lesson.

George's first glimpse into the world of studio recording came recording a 3-song demo some 20+ years ago with his band at the time, sparking the interest into the recording process that he still has today. During the time between then and now, he has been fortunate enough to work with many talented artists, producers, directors, songwriters and fellow musicians (see music and media pages) on a variety of projects in various genres and formats. This allowed him to further his skill set beyond just playing and performing instruments as a songwriter, to also include engineering, recording, and producing music as well as composing for film/tv and being a music supervisor.

He currently works with local producers and artists in the Los Angeles area as well as remotely with other clientele all across the globe. George plays the following instruments:

Guitars (electric, acoustic, nylon/classical)
Piano/Keyboards/Synths (including sequencing and programming)
Electric Bass Guitar
Lap Steel, mandolin and other stringed instruments
Percussion and smaller mallet instruments

He also performs the following production duties when requested:

Engineering
Mixing/Editing
Sample replacement
Sound Design
